Heat transfer salts (HTS)

In the chemical industry, heat transfer salt melts are often used for processes which run within an exactly defined and narrow temperature range.

Durferrit salts have been used in exothermic and endothermic processes for many years now, and contribute to the smooth and faultfree running of the process at some well-known companies in this branch. The sharing of experience with leading manufacturers of chemical reactors, engineering companies regarding the planning, and the use of extremely pure raw materials for the products are the prerequisites for our outstanding position in the market. Furthermore, Durferrit regularly tests customer salt samples and in this way makes an important contribution to the safe operation of these reactors. Computer- controlled programmes and recommendations for the part replacement of the salt melts help reduce operating costs and the amount of waste salts to be disposed of. This means that the plant is in excellent operating condition at all times.
